Clayton Mortgage & Investment was established in 1998. Laura Clayton Lychock is the Owner and President.

Clayton Mortgage & Investment specializes in Trust Deed Investments and Real Estate lending. We offer expert financing on acquisitions, construction, commercial properties, land development, and vacant land. We are a full service mortgage broker for investors and borrowers. We have enjoyed many years of putting together deals with investors and borrowers.

Laura has over 30 years of experience in Trust Deed Lending here in Las Vegas. Before her venture with Clayton Mortgage & Investment, she worked for her mother Jerilyn Clayton who owned Consolidated Mortgage Corporation which was a very successful Trust Deed Lending Company for many years until it was sold in 1997. “I started at a young age at the bottom in the accounting department and was moved to different departments over the years, to learn as much about the business as possible.”

Mrs. Lychock moved to Las Vegas as a young child in the 1970’s with her family Bob and Jerilyn Clayton, sister, Kristin, and brother Robert. We were raised in a mortgage-lending household with her parents both in the lending and investment business. When asked, she always says “I grew up in the business, and never really thought I would do anything else.” Laura has been married for 33 years to her husband Rob and they enjoy 4 wonderful children together. Laura enjoys the outdoors, sports, traveling, and friends. Her favorite thing is being with her husband, grown children, their spouses, and of course, her grandchildren.

As with many things, there are bound to be bumps in the road. Tough times came in 2008 and beyond for so many, in so many industries. Clayton Mortgage & Investment was one of the very few companies who remained open to service the investors, now owners throughout the years.
